👩‍🔬 Positron Ventures helps and funds scientist-entrepreneurs who are pursuing moonshots for (planetary) health. And we do that across all of Europe.

🤖 That is why we are expanding our expertise in biotech with the one and only Max Lebeau!

Unsure whether to become a builder or a biologist, Max discovered that biology is something you can build with, which ultimately led to a PhD in Synthetic Biology. Fed up with academia and clearly unsuited for the corporate world, he first co-founded a biotech startup and later switched from the weird category of "scientist-founder" to the no less weird category of "scientist-investor". Today, he works to be the investor he'd have wanted as a founder.  On weekends you can find him rolling in the grass, splashing in a pool, or whatever his toddler decided would be fun to do.
