On being ‘VC ready’

The web provides plenty of advice on how to become ‘VC-ready’. You are supposed to have a complete team, a convincing pitch deck and a clear idea of your market.

Sure , these are all nice things to have. But at Positron we see things a bit differently. We fund scientist-entrepreneurs who pursue moonshots for (planetary) health, and do this at the earliest stage. We don’t really think it can be too early to engage with us. 

We are happy to start a conversation around nothing more than a paper or scientific presentation. Other things are more important for us (see below). And if we get excited and come on board, we’d love to help you complete the team, finetune the pitch deck or progress on your market entry strategy.
