Our obsession with proteomics

Every process in life ultimately runs on tiny molecular machines called proteins. Scientists understand these proteins better and better, yet can't truly 'read' proteins like they can read DNA.

Together with our fantastic Fellow Sarah Sandler, we recently got a bit obsessed with this topic - and how we might be able to fully read proteins in the future. Read on our blog in part one why protein sequencing is hard in the first place and in part two what new ways are explored to overcome these challenges.
